I'd say it's the complete opposite. The mainstream news talks alot about Lebonese casualties. In fact they seem to be fixated on it.
They show devastated buildings in Lebanon, but they merely show an unmanned "drone" getting shot down over Israel.
I think the reason for the disparity is because of technilogical disparity.
Israel actually knows where it's missles land, They got it on videotape and have foward recon etc. However Hezbollah's rockets are unguided, notoriously innacurate and Israel does not want to let them know exactly where they land and act as Hezbollah's spotters. Doing that would help them make more accurate strikes.
