Che was a priviledged child of an eltist feudal establishment which is carried on the backs of the poor indigenous people he claimed to fight for.
His fight was with himself and his own upbringing. Scapegoating his own guilt onto America was just a manifestation of his racism and prejudice. He wouldn't be the first Latino American to hate Gringoes.
Che accomplished nothing given that nothing has really changed in South America.
Che maybe the poster child of a romantic rebel, but he was also an angry priviledged child who wanted to destroy the world, evident by his pro-active role in the Cuban missile crisis.
And it only makes sense that it is angry, priviledged children whose parents pay for them to go to college who wear the "Che" T-shirts.
