Default WI Gov Denounces Anti-marriage Amendment

Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle took the opportunity to denounce efforts to amend that states constitution to exclude gay people from marriage during his MLK day speech.

“We should not enshrine discrimination in the Constitution of the state of Wisconsin,” Doyle said in a speech in the Capitol Rotunda.

Wisconsin boasts the very first openly gay person to be elected to the US Congress, Tammy Baldwin, who continues to be very popular.

I thin k this is a great statement on his behalf. Ignoring the gay issue for the moment, he is correct in saying that the Constitution should not be used to enforce discrimination of any form.

Well there is still hope for the state, even though its been besieged by rednecks as of late. Wisconsin is a state that prides itself on it's educational system. With all the new comers, it's slowly taking the face of Mississippi, as state that prides itself on how much it hates inferior people.

besieged by rednecks as of late
    nice
Who is more irrational? A man who believes in a God he can't see, or a man who is offended by a God he doesn't believe in?
