Thread: Breaking News - Think Before You Post!

In an attempt to battle the partisan mudslinging fest that the Breaking News section has become, we've been a little more aggressive in our moderating of this section. If we feel that a post made here does not have to do with current events in the political world, we will move it to a section where it is more at home. If you feel that we have moved your thread wrongly, feel free to let us know and we will review our decision.

We understand that many people feel that by posting the Breaking News section, their thread will receive much more views and bring about more responses. So, there are a lot of threads popping up here that have very little to do with recent headlines about politics. We have a large selection of sub-forums that are better suited to many of the threads being created here, so we ask that you make sure you're in the right place before you post.

Is it a current event? Does it have to do with politics?
