He knows that if rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always count on the support of Paul.
I don't believe that is what the Pres. wants at all. I think this is just spin from the rightwingnut crowd. My opinion.

Everyone should not have to pay income taxes. The working poor for one. They pay other taxes, like the rest of us, state and local and even federal gas tax.

So I imagine that's gone--and it should be--there is absolutely no reason--that 47% of the working in this country doesn't contribute a penny to the expenses of it.
No the GOP wants to keep the Bush tax cuts in place and make up the loss by raising the Payroll tax on the working people. The bush tax cut lowered the taxes larger businesses paid not the taxes normal people paid.

This has nothing to do with the fed. tax.

Actually they're not paid by the employee. All of them are paid by the employer.

You do know what the 940's tax forms are right?

    i think the conservative position be this;

since more folks ought to pay thar fair share, the taxes that ordinary americans pay ought to go up. the wealthy, as imma so often told, are already doin' thar bit.

    as yer link states -

that means that ye can't just hand out more corporate loopholes or lower the income tax on the wealthiest americans if ye don't make up the difference somewhar.

the wealthiest americans be our "job creators", which means that if possible, they ought to get more tax cuts, not less. well, if ye want more tax cuts fer the wealthy, then someone has to be taxed more to provide fer them cuts. raisin' taxes on the rest 'o the country (whilst cuttin' social services) be the conservative way to prosperity fer us all.

eventually, then the wealth shall trickle down too all the swabbys on deck.

...and, from i can gather, conservatives are for proposal 'o raisin' the payroll tax 'o ordinary workin americans.

Leave the rich alone, They have far more important things to worry about then taxes. They have to get ready for the next GOP fund raiser. If they had to pay more taxes then they would have less to give to the GOP and we can't have that happening.

So I am kindly asking you to pay more of your hard earned money to support your local GOP. If you do so, we will, someday in the future trickle some of your money back down to you.

    Thank You for your support.

Whether thats what he wants or not, that is whats happening. It's the inherent flaw of "progressive" income tax, to reduce taxes, you have to chop people off at the bottom. To avoid that, you have play favorites and wage class warfare.

Everyone who lives here should pay taxes.

Thats why a sales tax is is a superior, fairer tax. Everyone pays, but you have a measure of control on how much.

Please explain how the employee pays the "matching contributions".

It could be said with logic that employers pay all taxes, since all the money comes from them, except in the case of government jobs, then we all pay, either through taxes or through inflation. (the cruelest form of tax)

But some Cons would rather ignore what the new economic model has done to working Americans, and would rather just call em lazy, no account bums.

Hell, I am old and can recall much different times. Before the Cons got some clout back in D.C. and fucked up America, almost beyond repair. Yet the elites are doing quite well, quite well indeed. The distribution of income tells that story quite well.
Well, I'm old too, and I remember a totally different history. I remember the Democraps screwing things up.

70% of the "Bush tax cuts" went to the lowest tax bracket. The Democraps have demogogued it into "Bush tax cuts for the richest Americans". You Democraps should be so ashamed of yourselves, you should go hang yourselves in shame.
