Well.. when things are bleak it's ok to blame the government...Btw congress also did a hell of a job to create an unsecure investment enviroment...
And the private sector in the fake economy did the best job of all by evaporating all those trillions of private capital that are missing now in the first place...
I guess what I am saying is... Lets not forget:
The US is hurting because the private financial industry in the US seriously fucked up once again..
Government institutions were involved or did nothing to prevent this fuck up between 2002-2008 and you are right the new government has faild in their goal to make everything go back to how things were during the bubble years.

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add "within the limits of the law" because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.
-- Thomas Jefferson, letter to Isaac H Tiffany (1819)
today's flat job report may bring into question whether the situation at verizon and the announcement of the usps to eliminate many jobs played into these numbers, but still we should have seen growth. it seems like we are just stalled, going no where. nasa eliminated a ton of jobs too. it's kind of a double edged sword. the investors are kind of shooting themselves in the feet here. they want to maximize profits, so where do they turn, to cutting costs, and cutting costs starts with cutting payrolls, then that turns into a negative job report, and that turns into tumbling stocks. if we don't have the jobs, we don't have the spending, and if we don't have the spending, we don't have the jobs. one hand washes the other. we need to get the cycle rolling again.
Again the economy has spoken about spending....What did it say? it doesn't create jobs you fucking dummies!!!! Keynesian economics is killing us. Now if your a communist this is a good thing cause through chaos they prevail. Only retarded progressives think this is not true.

Not correct. A president can have a extreme negative effect or positive effect depending on how much the governmental interference he/she applies or removes. While this is limited in removing roadblocks, there are an unlimited number of methods which can be structured to interfere with the economy.
