    With useless federal funding of flights to no where. Really "Democrats moving America forward..." is moving America forward right into more debt on pure spending stupidity but yielding future votes for a couple of Senate Dems.

    I agree that this is disgraceful!! At the very least, a short term increase in the FAA budget would have allowed the FAA to continue operating while the cuts desired by the Republicans were debated.

    The leadershin in the Congress and the White House failed on this one. Not that this should surprise anyone. The US government is so dysfunctional that I doubt that any major decisions will be made before the 2012 elections.
