Oil when we ever get off it.

It will be funny to see how friendly these ME nations will be when an economically viable fuel or resource is avalible. Wait till that happens and the psychos still have psychos running around blowing things up....you thint those government(s) will ever let that happen if the west doesnt need oil for fuel? Yea we will see really fast who has control over who, the goverments will take these fucks in the back yard and "off" them real quck and clean the place up so Americans will come and visit.

You know where to hit these nations where it hurts the worst? not with bombs but I wouldnt mind that one bit but getting off of oil.

It's interesting from a non-emotional/ranting point of view to observe the ways that the oil-rich nations, especially Qatar and UAE, are investing in everything and anything, rather than just blowing their largesse on coke and strippers.

Yes, Im not really sure oil rich countries neccesarily corellate with violence. The oil simply fuels the violence that is already there. Or investment in Qatars case. Even without our money going to oil rich countries that spawn terrorists, they would still be islamic theocracies and all the fascism that goes with it. They might just be poorer.

Also interesting is how ME countries give absolutely nothing to charity anywhere in the world. That the ME contains the richest people in the world, yet they only build themselves palaces and buy jewelry for their women.

I would wonder why the people stand for it, but I know that it is because they are controlled through propaganda and lack of information.

That is an easy answer...the ME government embraces religion because it serves their purpose perfect - that as long as the population focuses on getting to the promised land...they are not focusing on their miserable lives and the government who does nothing to help them while living like gods.
