hehehe no need to enlighten you really. For a lefty, you're actually pretty clear headed. You seem more libertarian, or classic liberal, than modern liberal - and in that regard, we're in agreement more than not.

    Samantha on the other hand...
I've tried to see the world as a liberal would. Really I have. I just cant seem to get my head that far up my ass.

Excuse me but which side is claiming "you're either with us or against us? Which side is telling people if they are against the war they do not support the troops or they are unamerican. Those are all forms of trying to silence dissenting thought and none of them come from the left.

    Hi all,

I am concerned by the way this converstaion is going. Why not refrain from personal insults and forgive?

You are free to post as you please, but may I sincerely ask you to treat those with whom you disagree with respect.

    Thanks everyone!

PS - Remember the message of this thread. Student led religious free speech at graduation and other school events when open to other topics may not exclude religious speech. I will start a new thread to reinforce this, so when you discuss this with your friends, or have a friend's religious speech rights violated, you will be equipped to defend religious freedom and freedom of religious speech.
    That's the law in America.
    Free speech for all.

Just out of curiosity: is it possible for you to get past your condescending attitude and actually address points brought from the opposing view?

Seems that you have a pattern of coming in here, posting something copied and telling us how wonderful your religious organization is, responding to posts with statements that don't relate, and then leaving. All this with a holier-than-thou attitude. Why do you do it?
"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

He is standing high up in the pulpit. It's only natural that he talk down to us. We are his sheep. Some of us are black sheep
