    Default About time.

It seems they are getting strict with teachers.

This particular teacher had what is known as wandering eye (you know, somewhat cross eyed) And she was forced from her job. She took it to court, but the judge found for the school district, because, as he ruled, She couldn't keep her pupils in line.

Thanks for starting a promising thread. No doubt there is more to it, like a link?

I'd like to examine the applicable law and read the legal arguments. The law says a handicapped person may be rejected if the handicap violates a BOQ (bona fide occupational qualification).

I have a confession to make:

This post was intended as a JOKE, but appartently it went over like a lead baloon. The Pupils mentioned were in her eyes, they were not her students. Jees, you people are no fun

The real life version of that joke would be for the school to fire her for a wondering eye and then for a judge to side with the school district and say the Americans with Disability Act doesn't apply because wondering eyes are not a disability.
