It would be natural. After all, the dinosaurs went extinct, so might humans. It's all just a guess anyway.....
I have actually thought the same way before. We are part of nature and I do think it is natural for us to try to use our environment to improve our lives. However, I would have a problem if we end up making things worse for human life on this planet in the long run.
Up there in the immensity of the Cosmos, an inescapable perception awaits us. National boundaries are not evident when we view the Earth from space. Fanatical ethnic, religious or national chauvinisms are a little difficult to maintain when we see our planet as a fragile blue crescent fading to become an inconspicuous point of light against the bastion and citadel of the stars. -Carl Sagan

I think there must be some credibility to the orbital variation theory. If we come closer to the sun because of orbital variation, then the earth is going to warm. Humans may be causing some warming. The earth is just a planet in a vast universe. We see the death of stars in that universe all the time. And humans have nothing to do with it. There is a life cycle in the universe and natural death is part of it. If anyone thinks this planet is in any in a fixed position but for the actions of man, in that grand scheme of things, then they are incredibly short sighted.

That is a good point. The earth does change because of many variables. I think it is possible that more of the warming is caused by factors other than humans. Then again the majority could be because of humans. I just find it hard to make that call and I find it strange that so many try when they are not qualified to do so.

Aren't most people who think they are oracles downers? Perhaps I am beginning to understand and be one too. I have a sense of humor. Really I do. But when I trot it out I get....... (((LMAO)))

Well, I guess they think they are qualified.

I am just willing to admit that I personally have no way of knowing how serious the problem is or how much of it is our fault. I actually would like the know the opinions of more people here and more importantly how they came to their conclusions.

I haven't reached a conclusion yet. I have an "area" in science.

It is good to know that you haven't reached a conclusion yet. I wish more people would admit that they do not know for certain rather than preaching to the other side like they know beyond the shadow of a doubt.
