I certainly will not count on the free market for health care because it hasn't and won't deliver it to the citizens of these United States. Imagine if your health was built on your wealth and you lived or died if you had the dollars. That is the way our health care coverage system works today and more middle and working class people are finding that out as they lose their jobs and health care.
It is interesting to hear from those a few years ago that opposed all the public funding for health care and the interference from government when they had health care coverage from their employers now change their tunes as health care coverage as a benefit is disappearing for the middle and working classes here. Like I said before the sooner all of employer based health care is eliminated the faster we will solve this issue. Unfortunately this has become a slow and painful process with many losing their wealth and health to pay for the profits of health insurance companies and politicians.
I know individuals who were mid-level management and were laid off. They made too much to get available health care coverage at a reduced rate and not enough to afford COBRA. With COBRA the cost was about that of their mortgage and food budget so many chose to let their health care coverage lapse to keep a roof over their head and food on the table. Now many are finding they can not get a job that has health care coverage so individuals without health insurance avoid going to the doctor due to cost. Many families have children who are not covered so when their child is sick they are going to pharmacists and clinics to get even a modicum of medical care. This has got to end and at some point Americans will say enough and start to fix the system. Until then if you have health insurance from employer you are becoming a minority here. The tipping point of uninsured to insured is coming at when it tips changes will happen.
Obesity problems? I just moved back to Texas from Pennsylvania and lost 5 pounds! Seriously, is childhood obesity the governor's fault? It could be a sign of prosperity.

The solution is borrow and spend more money. Problem solved.
Like we have Medicare now that is broke and bankrupting this country. All we need to do is add the rest of the population onto those roles to really increase our national debt. Solution, borrow and spend more money. Not a problem, borrow and spend more money. It's amazing what you can do with an endless supply of money.I know individuals who were mid-level management and were laid off. Rick Perry will wait a decent interval as Michele Bachmann implodes before declaring. His candidacy will give the Republican Party the option of dignified defeat under Romney or wave-election rout under the TEA Party crazies.
Youse is floitin' wit' Lemonism!

Forplay your parents on Medicare and Social Security? If they are according to you they are bankrupting our nation? Well go tell them to stop sucking on the government and other tax payers for their medical and welfare needs! Tell them to get a job! Perhaps you will need to pick up the tab for them. Maybe an extra job to support your own family and not bother other tax payers for your needs. After all aren't all the elderly, children, retired military, and disabled on these programs socialists at heart? They certainly can't be true blue Americans can they?
Rick Perry does an excellent impersonation of Josh Brolin impersonating George Bush.

I thought he did a good impersonation of a governor.
In 2003 Rich Perry cut the funding to the Children Health Insurance Program and thousand of children were seen at ERs around the state raising the costs astronomically. He restored the funding in 2004 near election time.
In 2010 Rich Perry refused to use any part of the 9 billion dollars in a rainy day fund for education until a ground swell of anger from all Texans exploded in Austin. Rich's advisers told him to release some of the money or instead of a $5 billion underfunding of Texas primary education it would be close to $10 billion and schools would have to close, accreditation for many schools would be lost, and Texas education would be compared to that of a third world nation. Is it any wonder that most Texans who can afford private education opt for that. Pretty soon Texas education will again be number one for the worst in the nation.

The nation will soon be getting a closer look at Rich Perry and his little 'accommodations' for businesses.

The biggest problem with Rick Perry is that rather than a free market conservative, he's a crony capitalist. There's a lot of that in the Texas political culture. Romney is more of a true free marketer.
