    Default Did you know ?

    That if you're injured in an auto accident and are on Medicare Providers will not accept Mediicare and require out of pocket payment ?

    This happened to me.

    The reason is most (perhaps) auto policies cover auto injuries.

    I'm checking with my Ins. Co. today.

    P.S. I ran into a stalled auto in the middle of the road.

    I am very sorry to hear that you got into an accident, I hope you are okay!

    Happened to me once in Germany too, though was minor. My medical did not require any pocket payment, socialized health insurance covered it.

    Another reason is that Medicare may well reject the claim if it is auto-accident related.

    Hope you're OK after the accident.
