These really are fascinating. I have seen many maps of the German empire from the Kaiser's time, but I have never seen one with that much detail. So many of the old place names in Prussia and Silesia are now Polish - Konigsberg, Posen - it's a vanished world! That period from 1870 through 1914 in Europe is my favorite time of history to study.
