So explain to everyone why you wouldn't link to your argument the numerous times I asked you to do it.

The laws won't be enforced. The illegals will all stay. Because the rich are making money off them and the Republicans love money!
Ummm, did you read the original post? Do you have any idea how much illegals are costing us everyday? Just one day without them would pay for a wall, and a moat, and much more...

If you want to learn English that's great. I however, do not. In fact, I resent the necessity of needing to learn a foreign language in my own country.

Build the wall... A few interlocking .50's would be nice... Just the presence would do the trick I think...

A wall would be nice, but the real deterrent would be if we punished employers of illegal immigrants. By incrementally punishing employers, immigrants will have no where to go and would not have a reason any more to come here. Also, the danger of not forcing immigrants to learn English is that it fosters allegiance to another country. I support controlled immigration, but if the immigrant is only here because we have the most advantagous policies and not because he believes in our way of life, then he is only leeching off of the USA and would not defend it in time of war.

A wall OR we stop PAYING them to COME here.

Why would they stop COMING here illegally, when we ENCOURAGE and INVITE them IN ?

They can get free health care free ... almost EVERYTHING. I don't BLAME them.

Hey, if some drunk millionaire stands on the streetcorner waving hundred dollar bills around yelling "Money.... free money." would you just walk right by without getting some ?

I agree. Border security is an absolute must -- however, it must go hand in hand with taking away the magnet, the money they come for. If they know there is something waiting for them then they will find a way to bypass our system like before. This goes for the anchor baby b.s. as well. If they know that they will get a pass by coming here and having a kid then what good does border security mean? We must enforce the borders and stop the problems here as well.

You don't think that's overkill? Do you think that the problem is serious enough to merit the staggering and gruesome collateral damage that would ensue?

Well, unfortunately things WILL be quicker by building a freakin' WALL. Try to get the idiots running the govt. to do anything quickly with common sense .... like, say removing the motivations they have to find a way INTO our country ? That may take hundreds of years. By which time it won't even BE an issue any longer

When the people running a country become stupider and lazier than the citizenry, there's going to be problems. That's where we are now.

Of course, it won't an issue because we'll be The North American Community without liberty of sovereignty. Of course, that's a completely different topic (sort of.)
I think the government by way of hoping that the people are idiots and lazy they have in turn become the same way. Only thing is who is going to be unlazy enough to stand up for their ground first? I'm hoping it's the citizens, the taxpayers, the ones who work for these rights and not just want them given.
