I think the government by way of hoping that the people are idiots and lazy they have in turn become the same way. Only thing is who is going to be unlazy enough to stand up for their ground first? I'm hoping it's the citizens, the taxpayers, the ones who work for these rights and not just want them given.

Well, then. What can they (we the citizens) DO ? Everybodies busy "living their life", many of us pay zero attention to dangers until they hit us over the head. Many of us could care less about the govt. or politics or any of "that bullshit".

"We" could generally care less.

The govt. is too stupid and disorganized to get anything DONE.

I don't know. Maybe it'll somehow work itself out. In 50 years of course

Use liberals artistic manipulation of logic and language against them.

That is true. In general, American society has become very much about "the cell phone, the tv and the paycheck." Oh, my bad - forgot MySpace. I saw something recently, something like 90% of people could name American idol contestants yet that same percentage could not name the Speaker of the House. Baffling, yet not shocking. I see this type of mentality everyday. Why the hell would anybody give so much attention to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? Why do we have numerous magazines devoted to such trifling matters? It's no wonder that many of our reps are morons. The dumber the citizens get, the less intelligence it takes to represent them. However, i do think that eventually folks with start to galvanize - just a matter of how many years or worse, like you said, how many decades?

What collateral damage? The area would be a restricted one kind of like government research facilities with trespassers will be shot signs.
