I don't follow your first sentence. Do you imply the "US of Earth" in a sense of cosmopolitanism (e.g., no nation-citizen status - only status as citizens of the world?)

I suppose you could reach that conclusion by following the US model.

The UN can use a welfare-state economic model to promote the general welfare.
