Ultimately, this is the same problem we Americans sometimes have with some of our immigrants.
I have no problem with immigration or the cultures of those who come here but the fact that some of them seem to feel that they can break the law in entering here, disrespect our culture and/or language and then demand all sorts of free government handouts kinda bothers me. If they wouldn't do these things, I daresay that the whole immigration issue would be resolved here. Now, those who do assimilate and respect our country, laws, culture, language, etc are welcome here (and I know several people like this) but, having lived in another country for 2 years and having respected the laws, culture, language, etc of my host country, I have very little sympathy for those who don't.

Two truths that many Americans seem to have forgotten:
1. Men are endowed by God with inalienable rights.
2. Government's purpose is to secure man's God-given rights.








Whatever problems France has with immigrants are entirely the French people's fault. They were housed on the cheap in out of the way tenements with inadequate infrastructure and services. They needed more investment than the average, not less. They needed to be dispersed, not stuck together in ghettos, without access to decent education or services. No government has adequately tackled the problem, because it requires funds, but it will have to be done eventually. And no, the problem is not their religion, or their insularity, it is our disregard.
