Thread: And you think the U.S. has a problem with immigration?

The following is a video of what is happening in France with the very large Muslim population that came as legal immigrants, and are basically taking over enclaves within the French territory.

While I am in favor of legal immigration, I must admit that this type of situation is very worrysome because, contrary to most immigrants who quickly assimilate after the 1st or 2nd generation, the Muslims do NOT assimilate to the populations of the countries in which they immigrate, but on the contrary seem to raise a wall between their culture and that of the host country.

Why would a few mulsims strike fear into your heart? After all, it WAS you who wanted someone (other than you) to 'educate' them.

That's right they have not, but the huge difference is they don't rely on the rest of the country for jobs, or electricity, or phone, etc. They are not a burden on our society on any way. Nor to do they go out and solicit you to change your way of life or believe in any of their views.

Why do you think muslim communities would do any of the above?

As to changing your beliefs it has been repeated over and over on this very forum that they do not come around knocking on your door the way other religions do.

Why should one religion not have the right to worship as they choose?

Why are you so fearful of the brown skinned people of the world? What is the reason for this xenophobia?

Look at France and the rest of Europe and tell me that? Have you not seen the riots and the burning of cars and buildings etc. Why are they rioting? And they want Governing Under Sharia law to be the law of the land. Now tell me this is like the Amish.

Where have you been? Look around at the world once in a while.

It would seem that you are in favor of religious discrimination. And if the majority of the country wants a particular flavor of law, shouldn't they have it?

The total Amish and Mennonite population in the US is estimated to be about 250,000 for a total population of just over 310 millions. The Muslim population in France has grown to close to 7 millions in a total population of about 67 millions.

Why should any one religion be required to 'assimilate' when others are not? Why do you want to strip them of their heritage?
