"Obama Killed Osama" emblazoned on front. Obama target shots of "10 Somali Pirates, 3 Khadafy Grandkids, 2 Osama Wives, The U.S. Economy And Got A Peace Prize For Doing It" emblazoned on back. Club Gitmo logo on left sleeve. Available in Institutional Orange only
"It is US policy that Ghadafi has to go but, let me emphasize, we anticipate this transition to take place in a matter of days and not weeks." - Obama

The URL @ the OP does not mention stopping the deportation of illegals - the headline to this thread is wrong. It talks about pulling out illegals already in detention with felony records, for expedited deportation.
Immigration violation detentions are dropping/have been dropping because the US economy is contracting. If there's no work, there's no economic incentive for people to come here. In fact, undocumented are returning to country of origin - largely because of the US economy.
If felons were not processed more rapidly, the detention/deportation numbers would drop further. It makes sense to target felons - people with major crime records - first, as a priority for deportation.
Ummm...
Okay.
You mean the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act?A court ruling that Obamacare's mandate that you have health insurance is unconstitutional.
Yeah... That's a federal law, enacted by Congress.
Not a "mandate" at all.
Congress wrote the law, Congress voted on the law, Congress passed the law, the President signed the law.
Unless those SchoolHouse Rock videos very much misled me I think that's the way the legislative process is supposed to work.
In my opinion it's a bullshit law and I'm glad it's being challenged, but it's hardly a mandate.
We were in a recession when President Obama was inaugurated and had been since 4Q7.Stocks are falling amid speculation of an American recession.
That's not really the president's fault.Unemployment remains high.
The president doesn't create jobs and the president doesn't destroy jobs. It's a liberal fantasy that he can or does.
This has already been addressed but we've NEVER had a president who enforced immigration policy. Now the administration states that it won't enforce immigration policy.
And has been for quite some time. This is America? LOL.
Move along folks, nothing to see here.
That's not really ture. And to think we got this because liberals bashed Republicans relentlessly for eight years enough for the uninformed moderates to buy into empty promises of "hope and change."
The moderates just got tired of eight years of neo-con douchebaggery and as soon as McCain started knuckling under to the neo-cons the moderates were, like, "Fuck you John, we're out". Course it didn't help that the Republicans were buck fucking stupid enough to let Sarah Palin anyfuckingwhere near a ballot. But populist bullshit is populist bullshit: "They got a black! We need us a woman!!!" (Note: Not that I have anything against a woman but if you're going to run one as VPOTUS at least have the sense to make sure she's not functionally retarded.)
Nobody is "running" from him. Those same moderates are now running from Obama because they JUST NOW realized what a disaster he is.
I think a lot of us are willing to vote against him.
Preferably the Democratic party will challenge him but I think that most of us are willing to vote Republican should they not.
Unless of course the Republicans run some nutcase Tea party cunt. In which case we're, again, going to go with the lesser of two evils and reelect President Obama.
The fat lady ain't sung. Stop with the chicken counting. Thanks, guys. Better late than never, I guess.

Woah, dude. I'm not talking about how it was passed -- although, we can talk about that, too, if you want. I don't really think buying Congressional votes with pork is something to brag about. But what I was referring to was that the mandate that you MUST have healthcare, which is part of the bill, was declared unconstitutional. You can talk about "Schoolhouse Rock" all you want, but if you knew how to read you wouldn't need to watch cartoons on ABC on Saturday mornings. Just saying.
That's right. But 1) that was due to Democrats' actions leading to the housing bubble and 2) it's been nearly three years -- that's a little long for Obama to be leaning on the "I inherited this" crutch. His policies have done nothing to solve the recession and, in fact, have exacerbated it. Nothing he has done has been to encourage business; everything he has done has been to attack it.
While he doesn't actually create or destroy jobs, he most certainly creates a climate that is either conducive or not to business growth. Now, if you want to get into a semantic argument, you could say it's him PLUS Congress and I'd be fine with that. But when you pass Obamacare, raise minimum wages, extend unemployment, rail against "corporations," and say that you expect to raise taxes, what do you think that does to jobs and the economy? Nothing?
That's right, and we've also NEVER had a President who has so openly declared that he will govern AGAINST the law. (Add that to Attorney General Eric Holder saying he wouldn't prosecute Black Panthers who participated in voter intimidation, by the way.)
OK, so let's go down this pathway. Let's say, for the sake of this argument, that we accept everything you say. Regardless of what you want to say about McCain and his "neo-con" leanings (which is laughable, by the way), that doesn't excuse moderates -- and I can tell you're one. You want to use that to hide behind, be my guest, but you're fooling nobody. Everyone on the conservative side knew what Obama was and what he was intending to do with a super-majority Democrat Congress. Somehow, the moderates didn't, or if they did they knowingly decided that Obama was preferable to McCain. Now they're all acting surprised and shocked like "oh, man, this is horrible, who saw this coming?" Uh, everyone, dude. Everyone who had an ounce of intellect.
Just another disgusting move by a man who thinks he is a king.

Yep, it was the dems that decided that it is the right of everyone, regardless of means, to own a home. It was the dems that has a supermajority for the last two years of Bush.
But they'll tell you it was Bush's policy that let Wall street load up on worthless sub prime mortgages. In their minds 2007-2008 didn't exist.
