[I]Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

Yes, they were. We were working for a contractor leveling out a lot.
Because I would have lost my job and so would they in addition to possibly being deported. It sucked, but it kept food on the table for all of us, that's why we accepted the job in the first place.Furthermore, if you knew that your employer was committing a crime and abusing employees why didn't YOU turn him in?

ahoy Hoplite,
them who have more can afford to sneer, do just that matey. 'tis the way it all works as i pointed out in me thread;

we all do what we must to keep our vessels afloat, me bucko, worry not 'bout any criticisms fer the choices ye made.
in a way, thats all them folks in Arizona be doin'. ye see, in the end, they don't care about illegal immigrants workin' so much as they be in a grim mood at the downturn in the economy, fer the housin' bubble burstin' put a mighty salvo amidships fer many 'o them.
they just seek folks to blame, which be understandable...they've a right to be angry...
but when the day turns to night and the be alone with thar anxieties, they just be worried about thar own fate. they really don't care that much about brown peoples comin' to thar land...they just need someone to blame fer the troubled times they live in...
...and thats why they've raised such a paltry pittance fer this "wall".

That is my point. Several important cases are winding their way through legisation currently. Untill those are decided, roadblocks from the Feds and others inhibit the building of the fence. Today there was more whinning locally about the new fence heights in several areas where illegals broke their legs because the increase the fence height from 10 feet to around 18 feet.
