Default A New Form Of Jihad

I recently read an article written by Ahmed Zewail, the only Arab nobel prize winner for science, he is calling for a new form of jihad. This is not a violent war but a new thinking and actions Arabs should take. He has titled them the "Pillars of Change".

    They include:

1--A new political system of honorable intellectuals, respected politicians and thoughtful religious leaders. These would debate and form policies rthen given to the pweople on referendum.

2--THe rule of law--it should be applied evenly to all individuals.

3--Education, cultural practices and scientific research must be revisited, reviewed and revitalised. Government should remain responsible for primary education for all. Higher education should be based on quality not quantity.

4--Arab media should be revamped. News media should report only news and then establish a media for cultural, social and educational pursuits. In essence make the media more positive.

    Any thoughts?

It sounds good in theory...but I do not see coming to fruition...
It's not an attitude...it's the way I am!
