"The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation." - Sen. Barack Obama December 20, 2007.

What do you want from us posters? I am now agreeing with you for the third time. Now we know you are management. Do you think you should have a meeting with all the business owners to discuss this? Or, maybe let it go all together? If you are really that upset about it grab the bull by the horns. Issue a memo, and hire a mainteinance service and TELL the others how much their share is. You have nothing to lose, and you can hide your low quality crapper paper irritation. (This, by the way. is one of the reasons you hire advertising agency guys like me).
I am not being critical mind you, frustration in the office environment irritates me too. And, it is often the little things. I remember a story about the CEO of Canteen Corporation. He drove a Lincoln with one of those hood ornaments that stood up on the hood.
Someone was consistently wrapping thread around the thing. The CEO was angry that before he drove home, he always had to remove the string. (Talk about a great time to strike when the CEO was trying to rush home in traffic)!
Evidently, the CEO got a little manic, and brought up the subject in a meeting. Everyone thought it was a joke. Then the CEO really go mad!
Months later he learned it was the union. An amazing psychological ploy that produced results. I am not suggesting this is the case in your office, but it is a worthwhile tool to remember. What little thing can you do to irritate the "Cheap Bastards?"
Seriously, I do not blame you one bit if you play this childish game, it is how people vent. There is plenty to vent about in business these days. Don't let it get to you, but remember the words of the late Mayor Richard J. Daley, "Don't get mad. Get even." Investing in a strategy rather than high blood pressure is much better for you.
Man.. You sure to write a lot, but I question your reading and comprehension skills. Lutherf already said he's going to bring it up at the next meeting. He's going to address it. Are you paying attention to what's being written? You're one of those people who loves the sound of their own voice, arent you?
Luther, your thread title must be right because no self-respecting woman would buy paper that will scrape the cookie raw and we use paper far more than you guys do. I like the Charmin Ultra Soft at home though my nephew bought Quilted Northern the last time...it's soft enough, I guess. At work, we use the store brand of Angel Soft and it's okay but occasionally, I'll have a damaged package of Scott thousand sheets/roll (one ply) so I just stick it in the men's restroom since very few men go in there. Sorry guys!![]()

I live in LOUISIANA, where flip flops come out in February, we don't have fire flies, we have "lightning bugs", we don't have crayfish in the creeks, we have "crawfish" in the ditch, "taters" are mandatory, "y'all" is a proper noun, chicken is fried, biscuits come with gravy, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never, ever disrespect your elders. I am a PRACTICAL liberal Democrat, and the key word in that phrase is "PRACTICAL." The way I see it is this. The fringe element of Teabaggers has managed to hijack my country. The President I campaigned for as a liberal has turned into a mediocre moderate with weak negotiating skills.
Obama ACTUALLY was willing to play poker with Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. This is a direct betrayal of the New Deal, the New Frontier, and the Great Society. Roosevelt, Kennedy, and Johnson must be rolling over in their graves.
So, we fight fire with fire.
Pundit Bill Maher was the one who suggested we Democrats form a party within the Democratic Party and call it the Donner Party. The purpose of the Donner Party will be THE fringe element to liberals, as the Tea Party is to conservatives. Tea Baggers have pulled the agenda to the right, and we Donners are going to pull it back. The more insane Donner rants are, the more liberal legislation we will accomplish.
Let's not forget that group Chris Mathews called "low information voters." They don't understand a logical discussion, but they will tune in for brawl!!Such are American politics in the 21st century teens.
Sorry you don't care for my approach, but then, I am not the one running around U. S. Politics with a reputation for self amusement. I skip over redundent posters who can not state an idea clearly and quickly. You know who I mean? The ones who nit pick simple games to exercise their egos.![]()
There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. -- Rummy
Wise words from a wise man.
If you have a question about the seriousness with which I take this thread, you have only your OP to consider. He's a moderator for Christ sakes.![]()
God, this place is stuffy.
I have explained as much as I intend to in my signature. Wake up! Smell the roses! It is 2011 and your government has been kidnapped.
