Unfortunally Religion is the gang warfare of morality...

There isn't a major religion in the world which doesn't share 90%+ of the rules of morality with the other beliefs....

People generally focus on the differences rather the commonallity....

'Love your Neighbour as much as yourself' you can dump the rest in the bin...

I actually listened to him a couple times before he went over to satellite.

Crude. Lame. Shitty.

I think Howard stern is a complete piece of shit.

I've loathed him since the day he called Air Florida the day after one of their aircraft crashed in DC and asked for a one way ticket to the 14th street bridge.

If he were on fire, would not piss on him to put it out.

That said, I do not agree with the campaign of censorship that drove him off the public airwaves. His speech, as loathsome and hateful as it is, is protected by the Constitution.

He is a worthless piece of shit, but I would stand up beside him to defend his right to speak. I wrote letters to the FCC and my Congresscritters when the Stern thing was going on, defending his right to speak.

His move to Sirrius prompted me to buy XM.

Matt

I tried to listen to him several years ago. It was around the time his book and movie came out. I tried to listen each morning for about a month. Every time I tuned in, he was blathering on about his book and/or his movie, and how great he is, and how his critics suck, blah blah blah. I kept wondering when he was going to say something funny (because his fans always rant about how hillarious he is), but it never came. I came away with the impression that he's just an egomaniac, and not funny at all.

Edit: I forgot to mention - as much as I dislike Stern, I agree with Matt - I would defend his freedom to speak. I really didn't like how he got treated by the FCC.

I had a friend in college who liked him so I ended up sitting through his show that aired on E!

I think my I.Q. is too high to laugh at his humour. I hate to sound like a femenist but I can't understand why women would want to go on his show and be treated like that. I don't think he should be censored but I think it's scary how many people love that shit.

He's funny when he talks about his family and I'm not interested when he talks about naked ladies. He used to be funnier 15 years ago. One thing about him that I love is that he when gets celebrities on his show, you can really tell who the assholes and fakers are. He forces them to be real.

He's awesome, I mean naked ladies on the radio, what a genius! Then there's his fans,
"Dude howard had naked chics on his show today."
"dude sweet"
"dude, it was awesome"
Then ask them, "Could you see them?"
"No, but dude they were naked and on the radio"
"dude"

I never thought he was funny, ever. About 10 years ago, I was forced to listen to that crap because some of the guys at work used to turn that stuff on full blast and get their morning brain food. Absolutely hated it.

I was never a Selena fan, but being Hispanic, I knew a lot of people who adored her. So I was completely surprised when he went off and trashed her after she passed away. It was real disrespectful, unclassy, and absolutely tasteless. This woman's family was grieving for their loss, and here he is making a sick joke out of it. Never heard anything like that on the radio before, and it was kind of hard for me to believe that some people found it to be entertaining.

I couldn't give a damn how the FCC treated him. I would never fight for that fart jockey's right to free speech. To hell with him.

I've never listen to him so I really don't care. Lets face it though, he used censorship to aquire fat checks and was laughing all the way to the bank. His move to digital radio only proved it where I think a lot of people finally realize he manipulated the censorship for his own financial gains.
