Default GOP DEBATE THREAD TONIGHT Weds. Sept. 7 MSNBC AT 8 p.m. EST

Hi everyone--the GOP debate starts in about 1 hour--so I thought I would start this thread for comments.

Hope to hear from you all--What you liked--what you didn't like--which candidate or candidates hit a home run--and which ones should drop out after this debate?

Ouch. I'm not a Ron Paul supporter at all -- I think he's nuts -- but I'm being quite objective when I say he's not coming off well. He's trying to answer five questions at once and he just comes off as being all over the place.

    ahoy all,

i like Mr. Paul's acknowledgement 'o the massive deficits run up under President Ronald Reagan.

i just turned on them debates.

i also like the look 'o Michelle Bachmann's blouse. her blouse reminds me 'o cheongsam dresses, with its mandarin collar. the lass looks very stylish. she said somethin' about 1.97 per gallon gas, which makes me wonder if she hath spoken to the US Chamber 'o Commerce, which just yesterday suggested raisin' gasoline taxes to fund some kinda 'o jobs bill.

The moderators are not doing such a good job with this. They are allowing the debate to be all over the place entering a topic then allowing for response on some other topic ignoring a few up there in the process. The main issue with MSNBC (and others,) they already are showing who they want to hear from and who they are willing to ignore... like Cain for example.

    yarrr!

i like that they be usin' "Bitter Sweet Symphony" as they show pictures 'o Mr. Reagan...one 'o me favorite bands from late in the Brit Pop movement was the Verve.

i also like that thar be a big airplane in the room that they be in...it looks dramatic.

they just showed Mrs. Reagan announcin' the "just say no" campaign, whilst i rolled me a fat spliff to enjoy this Reagan montage.
