Thread: Neo Atheist Philosophy

Atheism and Conservative ideals together? I'm not even sure if that's possible. There's more about them in the About Us section and they certainly bring forth a compelling case for it. What are your thoughts on this philosophy?

Well the keeping religion out of politics part i like, but as a Christian i object to the hostility toward Christianity.

How does neo atheism allow for the pursuit of happiness?

Why? Do you attribute pursuit of happiness to conservatism, religion or the union of both?

I am not sure. I was under the impression that there might not be a basis for comparison without some sort of evaluation system (i.e. morals or ethics), but atheism would not preclude ethics and may not preclude code based morals.

Since your answer doesn't include conservatism, I take it that it would be atheism that raised the question in your previous post?

And you're right, by the way, rejection of religion does not preclude ethics or morals.

Have you even seen the alternative? Judeo/Christianity and prosperity are social anarchists biggest obstacles.

You do not need to believe in God in order to embrace the ethics and morality of the Judeo-Christian tradition of the Western World. Conservatism does not need a belief in God, it just needs a belief in certain ideas.

Not sure they, the anarchists, would agree on the prosperity part (it's probably just another prosperity than you are used to). But say you're right .. well, so be it. And what of it?

Social anarchists are the atheists leading the anti-Christian movement and the tearing down of our prosperity and happiness.
