If there was such a huge rift between Che and Fidel, why are there murals of Che in Cuba still, why does Fidel's best buddy Hugo Chavez give speeches infront of a hundred foot tall projection of the "the photo"?

I think Che didn't want to rest on his laurels. That is the number one reason I respect him.
