Google "Tapatalk security" and you'll see there are still lots of security concerns.

Another forum I am active on was hacked via a tapatalk bug and arbitrary code was executed on the server.

I'm quite leery of TapaTalk, myself. Fixing all the damage from that exploit was a huge hassle.

vBulletin 4.1.2 has a mobile theme which works pretty well, without the security concerns.

Danny, given the concerns over security and privacy issues, Tapatalk won't be a part of the forum software, sorry.

Whilst i appreciate your need to have access to the site from your phone, we couldn't ever possibly risk the entire forum's security at the expense.

I did speak with Marc a while ago about upgrading the forum software amongst other things and that is something we have both been trying to work towards pretty soon and CYD and Mrs M (along with myself) are sifting through the maint that needs to be done before then so hopefully within the next few months the issue should be resolved for you through the plug-in's available from VB itself.

    Thanks.
