    Default TapaTalk for mobile devices

Tapatalk is a plugin that vbulletin owners can install so people can browse their forum with easy on their mobile devices. Free for the forum but users pay $3 and can browse any site on the net who has the plugin. I think it's the best mobile plugin around and I use it for all my forums. I'd love to be able to browse USPOL in my mobile device. Thoughts? Takes a few min and is free for the site to implement.

I'm surprised you can't simply log into any forum with it same as you would with through a web browser. The administrators might want to look into this, though I wouldn't use it.
During the journey we commonly forget its goal. Almost every profession is chosen as a means to an end but continued as an end in itself. Forgetting our objectives is the most frequent act of stupidity.

Ditto on the Iphone. I assume TappaTalk addresses formatting/screen size/resolution type issues? Basically an ease of use type app?

Exactly. It creates a mobile version to work with one-click access to your posts, recent posts pms etc. Right now I don't have enough patience to use safari on my iphone and browse the site.

Tapatalk has had some security issues in the past. It makes me a bit uneasy.

And just to add, it isnt a a part of our current Plugin's...most of the plugins (if not all) that we have insalled are all officially from VBulletin. (No security concerns there obviously so its a lot less risky).

In general the use of the forum on smart phones isnt as easy to navigate as you'd think Danny and there are lots of posters who do use their blackberries/Iphones and what have you to browse or post on the site. They are all doing it without the plugin being enabled or installed and some of the longest posts/quality of posts come from those users so for now i dont think there is an urgent need to update the "mobile" capacity of the site. (Even as much of a pain in the ass as it may be to use on a phone compared to an actual computer).

Is it for vBulletin only or for really every forum?
