    From what I have seen, I think the current policy is effective as it is. It seems to me that between the moderators combined with the comments of other forum members combined with the PM system, insults are kept in check before they get out of hand. I think the idea of trying to monitor "would-be" insults is difficult to do. And I would echo Mrs. M.'s comment that criticizing ideology is not comparable to criticizing the person.

    well i didnt vote didnt want to get suspended you moderators have me gun shy now

    i think the context of the statements should be taken into account

    i joked 2 and got warnings, then my next comment that seemed insulting got me suspended

    i believe 3 is the way but i think the zealousness of the enforcement by some is a bit much


    (just my opinion i didnt insult anyone, i mean no insult , the thread is from the moderators, just replying DONT BAN ME )

    I went with rule #1. The less censorship the better. If somebody insults me I simply ignore them.
