At least you admot that you don't understand basic economics. That's OK, its a symptom of the liberal disease.

We have not yet heard the end of the BP saga that is for sure.
Nice theory, but BP is pro-active in alternative energy, remember? The greenies friend? You should at least give them the benefit of doubt, even if they are an EVIL corporation.

I give them credit for having a half way decent pr campaign, that is all. We shall see how this plays out.

Since the only "economics" arguments you have suppled so far is "supply and demand" and a definition of "profit" your own economics knowledge doesn't appear any greater than that of the average juinior high student.

You have yet to explain how any of my statements - including the one you initially objected to - is not true. Until you do I have to wonder why you bothered to respond at all.

As I explained to you earlier, "supply and demand" is unrelated to profit, yet you insist otherwise.

BTW economics is taught in college, not middle school.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I said "Well if you are the one who gets to jack up the price wouldn't you call it an emergency?" and ever since then you have been posting "supply and demand" "supply and demand" "supply and demand" as if it had something to do with my post.

I understood what "supply and demand" and "profit" meant in junior high. As did my children. And that's all you've posted. So once again, read the posts before you respond to them.

My question for years with regard to ANWAR is why this should be the business of anyone but the voters of Alaska to decide.

Is this a trick question? I thought ANWR was federal land?

Artic National Wildlife Refuge - N stands for National.
