No, it isn't. Hizb'allah denied any involvement with the Beirut bombing;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983_Be...rracks_bombing

Your post also contains the proviso of 'before 9/11'. jpsartre's claim did not.

Where's your independent source for Hizb'allah's history ? Like I said, the UN, the EU and Russia do NOT list Hizb'allah as a 'terrorist' group, as far as I can discover. Why would that be if there was no doubt about their having 'killed more Americans' than anybody else ?

Oh yeah, and don't quote George W. Bush as if the muppet knows what he's talking about, outside of the oil business.

August 14th
Ceasefire violated almost immediately;

Quote:
A first fire incident violated the cease-fire, however, when Israel Defense Forces soldiers shot dead a Hezbollah militant who sprang from his hiding and opened fire at them. The clash took place near the village of Ghanduriya, in central south Lebanon.

EU lawmakers label Hizbollah 'terrorist’ group
ISN SECURITY WATCH (11/03/05) - European legislators on Thursday branded the radical Lebanese Hizbollah group a “terrorist” organization and urged EU governments to place the group on their terrorist blacklists, as the bloc did with the Palestinian Hamas group in 2003.
“[EU] Parliament considers that clear evidence exists of terrorist activities by Hizbollah. The [EU] Council should take all necessary steps to curtail them," legislators said in a non-binding resolution adopted during a session in Strasburg, France on Thursday. EU lawmakers also called on Syria to withdraw its troops and intelligence services from Lebanon.

As for Russia, again you shade the truth:
Quote:
In the midst of the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict, Russia’s government declined to include Hezbollah in a newly-released list of terrorist organizations, saying that they only list organizations which represent "the greatest threat to the security of [Russia]

Those links only show that Hizb'allah is listed as a 'terrorist' organisation by the US. Your point was though that 'they' had killed more Americans than anybody else. I see no proof of that either.

Wow! A selective reader to be sure.
First, there are links above giving the EU's position. There is also one explaining why the Russians don't list it as a terrorist organization.
Second, I admitted that I should have qualified my original statement to say pre-9/11, or are you disputing that they have killed more Americans pre-9/11 than any other terrorist organization?

I'm not really interested in discussing why your links don't support your claims, suffice to say that they don't.

Moon, Why are you not aknowledging the entirety of JP's post's? Either you agree, or disagree, but what I read here is disjointed.....

facts confuse him. They focus his distorted sense of reality.

This is where you are wrong. He has no sense of reality. That is why he feels comfortable cherry picking your links. The man talks from where the sun rarely ever shines, although in his case since he uses it as a mouth I am pretty sure it gets more sunlight than most of the rest of ours do.
