I think the reason for the disparity is because of technilogical disparity.
Israel actually knows where it's missles land, They got it on videotape and have foward recon etc. However Hezbollah's rockets are unguided, notoriously innacurate and Israel does not want to let them know exactly where they land and act as Hezbollah's spotters. Doing that would help them make more accurate strikes.

Exactly what I was thinking.
The Isreali citizen death toll is barely mentioned while there is a constant drum about the Lebanese death tolls.
Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah quote on Jews in Isreal: "No, I actually want all of the Jews in the world to be in Isreal, this way we can destroy them in one place rather than all over the world"
