She was supposed to go to Iraq in september but she is with child so its delayed. She is not a fighter shes a healer

She is a nurse and super patriotic. She wants to go to iraq to serve.

She is a Captain and stationed at Lackland. She works in post surgery and takes care of soldiers and civilians too.

We sacrificed alot last year to make this happen I closed my 2 business's that I had for 15 years just so she could join up

Im a full time stay at home dad now and its more of a challenge to home school my kids and do these things then it was running my car stereo shop and used car lot.

Some peopel spout off about there beliefs and never take action never sacrafice for the ideals they believe in... Me and my family are not one of them

SO heartful thanks for your respect and thanks to the soldiers. Though me and you may be opposites in our feelings on political endevors at least you show your patriotism and not calling soldiers rapists and killers as some do

the soldiers apreciate your support
We all owe a lot to people like you, also. You're making sacrifices that many of us won't ever have to make in order for your wife to serve. If not for dedicated husbands and wives, there wouldn't be as many brave men and women willing to serve so I'm sure the others will join me in saying thank you very much.

The board does have a military subforum. Perhaps as part of that?

It was a mistake to turn this in a partisan direction.

Xavier, there are probably many like myself that have PM'd or have posted in other threads a special thanks to the soldiers on this forum. I find your post to be obnoxious and extremely rude, especially to Samantha, who started this wonderful thread for our men and women. Seems to me, you owe her an apology.

I wouldn't say my thread is only for one way of thinking or another. All opinions are welcome. People who have seen and participated in the battle have even more of a right to speak their mind IMHO.

"On track" is subjective I feel like Xavier is our hero and we should give him props and the freedom to say whatever he wants. Maybe we should talk about what he said instead of the fact that he said it.

Yes, he has a right to speak his mind but there are many other places he could have done so. So since you choose to allow politics to sully the thread, I'll withdraw my call for an apology to you.
