    Default Yemen bombing

This is what led to the demise of what used to be Al Qaeda. Attacking muslim countries and killing muslims. Pretty silly if you ask me. This cannot be sustained.

On another note CNN's use of Al Qaeda is misleading. They call it an "Al Qaeda branch" when in reality there are probably a couple of disgruntled Yemenis who wanted attention and decided to use the name Al Qaeda. The one guy who was suicidal is now gone and the "branch" will cease to exist with a little law enforcement and detective work. I don't think they did it intentionally but we've been pounded with the name Al Qaeda that any terror attack is assumed to be Al Qaeda. This is something that I hope Obama will be changing - the politics of fear.

Al Qaeda claims responsibility for Yemen attack - CNN.com

Al Qaeda's branch in Yemen has claimed responsibility for Friday's suicide bombing attack on a building housing Yemeni security forces.
Al Qaeda in Yemen have claimed that Ahmed bin Said bin Omar al-Mashjari, right, carried out Friday's attack.

Al Qaeda in Yemen have claimed that Ahmed bin Said bin Omar al-Mashjari, right, carried out Friday's attack.

"This attack was carried out in revenge for our brothers whose blood is on the hands of the infidel Yemeni forces," according to an e-mailed statement that included a photo of the alleged suicide attacker.

The photo identifies the attacker as Ahmed bin Said bin Omar al-Mashjari -- also known as Abu Dajjana al-Hadarmi -- from Yemen's Hadramout governate where the attack took place.

He is standing next to another man whose face is covered in front of a black-and-white banner. Both men have weapons slung across their shoulders; guns and ammunition belts are also pictured beneath the banner in the background. Al-Mashjari is wearing a black and white head covering, but his face is visible.

The e-mailed statement was dated July 25, the day of the attack, but it was distributed and posted online on Sunday.

According to Yemen's state-run news agency SABA, a suicide car bomber crashed the white 2003 KIA into the gates of the security camp in the southern city of Sayoun on Friday, prompting guards to open fire on the attacker.

The SABA report gave no details on casualties. Yemen's Interior Ministry said four people were killed and 12 were injured, but the Yemen Post, an English-language newspaper that covers events in Yemen, put the number at 10 dead and about a dozen wounded.

Hadramout's governor Saleh al-Khanbashi described the bombing as a criminal terrorist act, and threatened to track down and bring to justice those responsible, SABA reported.

    Typical leftist bullshit.

Al Qaeda claims responsibility, but it's "probably a couple of disgruntled Yemenis".

    How fucking stupid...

Steve you are a good example why the united states is slowly failing to continue to be the world's superpower.

I just hope the Bush regime does what he does best, thats destroying the credibility of the united states, it would be great if they start bombing yemen and use AQ as an excuse, lol.

Oh yeah, i forget to mention that the US media has no credibility whatsoever, it has become like a communist soviet propaganda information outlet, where all US media outlets publish and broadcast identical false news.

The only place where free correct information cannot be controlled is the internet, that's why CNN or the BBC have today become irrelevant.

    I see.

So Al Qaeda, a notorious and well know terrorist organization known for bombings, claims responsibility for a bombing in Yemen, and you obviously dismiss it.

"Danny", some left-wing America-hater on an internet forum, whose posts are often slathered in ignorance, says it was "probaby" disgruntled Yemenis, and you believe him.

    Holy fucking shit...

Wow Steve, I'm actually offended by a post of yours. That was pretty low even by your standards which, surprisingly have taken a more moderate / intelligent tone in recent weeks. I think you should apologize as you know your statement is incorrect. I attacked no-one in this thread.
