Aside from the fact that oil contracts are signed with companies that are often multinational and not governements Germany has already announced to support the rebuilding process in Libya with money, material and experts. And that will be at least as important. Merkels opposition to military action against Ghaddafi will be forgotten the moment both sides are talking about profitable business ........

The French newspaper Libération (what's in a name), already revealed an oil deal between France and the rebels, promising 35 percent of the oil to French companies.
