Visit the Active Site for U.S. Politics Online -- U.S. Politics Online . com
We're always looking for fun and exciting things to do here at US Politics (as if it could get any more exciting!), so we would like to present our latest idea to you guys and see if it's worth having.
Basically, we want to have a question and answer session with actual people who hold positions or jobs that relate to topics discussed here! But, since we're not exactly a rich page, we need your help!
So, the question I propose to you is: Who do you know?
We're looking for people in politics, upper level (preferably) government positions, historians, etc. Basically, anyone who would be interesting to users of this board. People from all nations are welcome to take part!
Now, I know you're saying "I would never expose that respected person to the madness of this board!". Well, they don't have to be. We will simply make a post giving a brief description of what the interviewee (human experiment) does and then ask people to post whatever questions they have. Then, we will take all the good questions and email them to the person. That person can answer whatever questions they want at their leisure, send the answers back to us, where we will post them for all to see. And there we have it, an official US Politics exclusive interview! Take that CNN!

Basically, this is just the first step, seeing if we have enough resources to make something like this worthwhile. I understand that some of you may not want to publicly name people you are affiliated with, so if you would feel more comfortable, you can PM me with possible candidates.
So, start thinking! You can use this thread to post possible people (if you want to disclose that information to the public) or to make suggestions about the process. We're still kind of putting this together, so everything will be considered.
Thank you, everyone, for your continued support of US Politics Online!

I've met the guy running for the 14th congressional district here in Ohio. We've had a table set up for him in the thoroughfare at school, and probably will again.
His name is Lewis Katz, he is a professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
I liked him. My personal opinion is that he is going to get spanked like a subserviant man-bitch by Steve Latourette.![]()

IIIX: My father had to work with Bernadette Chirac (the wife of Jacques) but he hates her. So, I don't know anyone.
Before you hit the button, check if every single word that you wrote is a step towards truth. Then delete those words that are unnecessary.
In return, I'll be trying to do it, too. And then we might have some meaningful discussion.
Why would anyone important be interested in this site? You might get Kerry to post so he can whine with his followers here. This used to be a nice place to discuss the issues, but since the DUer's moved in forget about that. Every thread is a friggin Bash Bush fest. I come over here to have a good laugh once in a while.

I also know that he's very fond of typing about what he thinks and therefore is likely to be open to something like this.
