To Modern Philosoph. I think your philosophy is much like mine. I have the same beliefs...some of them contradict each other. I also believe in nothing and everything at the same time. I have come to the conclusion that I am much like Tevia in Fiddler on the Roof. Did you see that? He would 'argue' with God and himself...and could always find the 'other side' of any argument. He was always saying...'but, on the other hand.' I see all sides of most philosophies...and sometimes, I frustrate myself! Glad to meet you.

Hi all! I'm David, from Karlskrona in southern Sweden. Though I am only 17, I care a great deal about politics, economics and the climate. It's hard to explain my political stance for anyone not native to Scandinavia, or Sweden in particular, but I refer to myself as socialist. I do not in any way support the acts of the Soviet Union or the DDR, states that I do not even consider socialist, but fascist. I work for equality, justice and democracy, and I hope to be able to participate in several interesting conversations on this forum.

Just joined this forum. I am UKdude84, 26 and a professional writer and political researcher. I have long had an interest in US politics and society and it formed the backbone of my degrees in History and my MA in International Relations.

Politically, I guess I believe in a big state with accompanied by free market for non essentials items only. I hold strong democratic sympathies and broadly suscribe to a talented 10th theory as espoused by WEB DuBois.
