I suppose its time to present a humble and gracious acceptance speech. I really haven't prepared anything formal, but here goes.


I would like to thank the good posters of US POL, the moderators, and especially those who were kind enough to both nominate me and give me your votes. I hereby promise to do my best fulfill the obligations that go along with recieving such a prodigious honor. All too often it is easy to get overstressed by the actions of the opposing party's politicians, or feel overwhelmed by events that are largely outside of our control. For this reason, I make an effort to inject a small degree of humor into the discussions......

You ungrateful cretins!!! I give you the gift of my superior intellect and sense of humor, not to mention my extremely valuable time, and this is the thanks I recieve? I herby judge you all unworthy of these great gifts which I have bestowed.

You were kinda lucky to make it on to the final 3 in the end tbh, you are a satarist but one of the funniest posters about, Malvolio, didn't even make it on the poll at all! Just a catergory that Speakeasy dominates year after year...
