Defending Spill Response, Obama Expresses Frustration - NYTimes.com
Hey, naysayers - Obama had another press conference today, took questions, and accepted responsibility for not going after the regulators sooner.Fielding questions from reporters, Mr. Obama acknowledged that he should have moved more aggressively before the oil spill to clean up what he called a cozy and corrupt relationship between regulators and the oil industry. “Absolutely, I take responsibility for that,” he said. “There wasn’t a sufficient urgency.” Although the regulators were in some instances constrained by law from being more thoroughgoing, he added, “We should have busted through those constraints.”

What do you mean "another press conference"?? - How many has he had again??...yeah.
Bush had several press conferences during Katrina...did he get an instant pass?
And hopefully by tonight we'll find out that the top kill worked and the flow has stopped.
Fingers crossed.
