If Obama were the captain of the Titanic he would be making a speech about his wisdom in stopping to take on fresh ice.
He is at his lowest point in the polls and even a CNN poll says he has lost nearly a third of his own party....
One in four Democrats wants to dump Obama | Campaign 2012
So with unemployment stuck at 9% or above, and the winter coming where the rate will rise some more, what options does he have?
Will he suddenly channel Ronald Reagan and announce a round of tax cuts?
Or will he continue to claim that his one billion dollar stimulus package will eventually work, we just need more time?
Or will he drop the gloves and go for another billion to spend on job creation....a sure knock down, drag out fight with the GOP?

He already said what he plans to do, during the debt limit debates. He's going to push for additional unemployment benefits and a continuation of the employee tax cuts. He's got nothing new, just more of the same. Good thing he went to Harvard.
He should give a tax credit to any company that hires a new employee of 1/3 of that employees salary, up to the max owed in taxes.
He should NOT ask for more unemployment benifits...99 weeks is too much already.. if you cannot find a job in 99 weeks you are a lazy bastard.. simple enough.

Obama will be all about extending benefits and investing tax dollars by encouraging banks to form a government managed infrastructure funding program by giving them economic incentive to lend.

All I know for sure is I won't be able to listen. I can't listen to any presidential speeches live. It enrages me. I'll read the transcript afterward.

It is an autobiography illustrating my evolution from one extreme to another--from a devoted Stalinist to an active anti-communist. This testimony is based on a diary I kept between 1946 and 2004 (in the USSR, Poland, France and the USA).

It's sort of sad that you laugh at honor so easily.
