Default Hoffa and Obama Campaign Event

I wonder of Obama is going to reimburse the tax payers for funding his event today where he had Hoffa as a guest speaker saying the tea partiers are sons of bitches, and they need to be taken out. I guess its ok to threaten violence again.

Cranking up the anti-Tea Party rhetoric, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa called on workers to "take these son-of-a-bitches out" as he warmed up a crowd Monday in Detroit ahead of President Obama's Labor Day speech.

The rhetoric coming from speakers at the event was already heated before Hoffa took the stage. Hoffa then declared there's a "war on workers" and vowed that organized labor would "remember in November" which lawmakers were opposing the president's agenda.

"We've got to keep an eye on the battle that we face -- a war on workers. And you see it everywhere. It is the Tea Party," he said. "And there's only one way to beat and win that war -- the one thing about working people is, we like a good fight."

Hoffa called on workers to get involved in opposing Tea Party-aligned lawmakers next November.

"President Obama, this is your army, we are ready to march," Hoffa said. "But everybody here's got to vote. If we go back, and keep the eye on the prize, let's take these son-of-a-bitches out."

Hoffa is pretty obviously encouraging people to vote a certain way, which makes this a campaign event. Obamas speech was similary political, not presidential.

Saw it. Disgusted by it. Not surprised in the least.

The level of vitriol from the left, especially against the TEA party, is just getting more and more obscene. I have been an active participant with the local TEA party since the beginning and have NEVER heard anyone suggest that we should consider ourselves to be an "army" prepared to march against the opposition nor have I ever heard any indication at all that we were "at war" with labor.

I will, however, suggest to Mr. Hoffa that if he chooses to encourage a march against the people of this country with the intention of disenfranchising them of any of their rights that now is as good a time as any...but he better make sure that he's packed a lunch.

In a widely anticipated address, a somber Mr. Obama told more than 14,000 people in a gymnasium at the University of Arizona — and millions watching on their television sets — that it was time to “pause for a moment, and to make sure that we are talking to each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds.”

So is it Hoffa Jr's. attempt at getting UNION thugs to bust up tea party rallies with violence?

Isn't funny you always get violence out of the left when they don't get their way.

100% agreed--and you couldn't have said it any better than that.

Hmmm...turns out that we were all wrong about this and that Hoffa never said anything controversial. The proof is right here - Media Matters

The "Take those Sons of Bitches Out" was taken out of context by FOX.

You can tell that it was taken out of context because, according to MM:
Henry [Fox correspondent] made clear during that segment that Hoffa's comments were references to voting out Republican members of Congress, not to violence.
    and because their headline says:
Fox Doctors Hoffa Speech To Fabricate Call For Violence
It is, apparently, unclear how such stuff as:
“We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,”
    and
“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march…
    is supposed to be interpreted.

Oh, Im sure he isnt stupid enough to publicy call for violence. No doubt he was using hyperbole. Im more critical that this was billed as a Presidential event when it was clearly a campaign event. And I think tax payers should be reimbursed.

Looks like my axe handle will be in my car on my next trip to the polls, just in case I have to defend myself against Obama's army.

Remember the black TEA partier who was beaten into a coma by Union thugs?

Remember the white TEA partier who's finger was bitten off by other Union thug?

Remember the New Black Panthers intiminating voters at polling place?

Remember the Union thugs terrorizing the child in his own home, and the Union police standing by, doing nothing?

Remember all charges being dropped against the Black Panthers as soon as the Obama Regime took office?

I carry more than a baseball bat!

I am a TEA partier and have never seen or heard violence promoted at TEA parties. I have seen plenty of violence promoted and carried out by Democrat Union thugs.

I've had enough! Being as the Union police will not do their duty and protect me, I'm ready to defend myself against these criminals.

And, perhaps, there should be an investigation into the event for potential Hatch Act violations, since this event was clearly a partisan political affair.
