And it looks like a war with the Republicans. Obama will use his Veto on every austerity measure the Republicans make, if they don´t cooperate.

Deficit, not debt. The DEBT will keep going UP by a trillion a year for the next 10 years. But all the plans being proposed by both parties (execpt Rand Paul), do not reduce the decifit much per year.

I think lobbing the stub from our unemployment checks might be more in order. Or fold them into paper airplanes and see who can get one the closest in.

He didn't give up on it yet, proposing lot's of measures that will tie up his opponents attention is what he wants to do. He has to do nothing but flap his gums and blame the opposition for his half-assed plans not becoming the law of the land and the way to term #2 is clear and free, he hopes.

Maybe its just enough to to avoid a downgrade by the rating agencies...
